“I would like to see that the trailer had done better job in showcasing some of the differences in the different play Madden 25 coins styles….” Overall I think this is the type of trailer with a short teaser that should have come out in the last couple of weeks to start the hype train however it’s a nice introduction of the very latest features, punctuated by some exciting shots of the brand new Frostbite engine at work.
“Looks similar to the older Madden!” “What specifically did this year’s Frostbite Engine do for the game?” Now that we’ve gotten the two main complaints removed (you can leave them out on the discussion board) let’s discuss the things Madden nfl 25 brings new features this year.
Its Target passing feature seems interesting but for those who are sim-centric, I’m not sure. It’s an interesting feature where I am not sure if it’s will please those who are looking for a better sim experience. However, it will definitely improve the experience for athletes who are competitive. The most skilled players will be the most adept in moving the ball around and moving balls into areas that most players would not dare.
“…I do not know if it’s going to appeal to people looking for more immersive experience”
The WR/DB interaction does look better. My hope is that they will bring greater penalties against sim gamers. I’d like to witness more defensive holding as well as pass interference. calls. Watching players jockey to position themselves while the ball is flying is definitely an experience.
Returning towards the Frostbite engine The game has definitely made a leap forward in terms of visuals but I’m not sure if this will suffice to satisfy gamers’ unrealistic expectations. The game isn’t going to be radically differentfrom the previous game, FIFA did not last year. However, it will open the possibility of how the game will evolve, and the top end is quite expensive.
Overall, an excellent first information release. There’s plenty to think about. My concern is the fact that EA buy Madden 25 coins has to accomplish multiple things for multiple groups, and my concern is that at the end of the day, sim-oriented gamers could be the ones to are lost as time passes. We’ll see.
