5. Control Your Movement and Positioning
Movement is one of the most crucial survival tools in PoE 2. Good positioning can allow you to dodge dangerous attacks or Path of exile currency escape tight situations.
Dodge Mechanic: Use dashes, teleports, and movement speed boosts to stay out of danger. Many bosses and monsters use telegraphed (visible) attacks that are easily avoided by moving out of the way.
Use Terrain to Your Advantage: In many maps, there will be areas that offer cover or open space to avoid large AoE attacks. Be strategic about where you stand, using the environment to help you dodge incoming damage.
Escape Zones: Always have an exit strategy. Be aware of where your portal is placed or where the nearest safe space is in case the fight goes south. Avoid cornering yourself in tight areas.
6. Stock Up on Valuable Crafting Materials
In case you lose a fight or die unexpectedly, you don’t want to lose valuable crafting materials and items. Crafting materials are often needed to re-craft your gear when you face higher-tier challenges. Make sure to:
Organize Your Inventory: Regularly sell or stash unnecessary items to make room for important crafting materials. Avoid clutter that might cause you to miss critical resources when you’re preparing for the next big map.
Have Extra Crafting Currency: Ensure you have backup crafting materials, like Essences, Orbs, and Fragments, to fix or buy Path of exile currency upgrade your gear if things go wrong.
