How to Use the “Call for Help” Mechanic
1. Initiating the Call for Help
Call for Help Option: To activate the Call for Help, simply interact with an NPC, pirate haven, or in-game location that has the Call for Help prompt. Alternatively, you may encounter the option directly on the missions or quest screens when you’re navigating objectives in your journal.
Invite Players to Join Your Crew: Once you’ve activated the Call for Help, you can send an invite to other players, either from your friends list, nearby players, or a random crew. You can then coordinate and assemble your team based on who responds to your request.
2. Communicating with Your Team
In-game Communication: To effectively coordinate during cooperative missions, you can use voice chat, the radial command system, or text chat to communicate with other players. Clear communication is crucial, especially during PvP raids or when you’re defending against multiple enemy ships.
Role Assignment: Depending on the mission, it’s beneficial to assign specific roles within your crew. For example:
Tanker Ships to absorb damage
Damage Dealers to focus on attacking enemies
Support Ships to repair or provide tactical assistance. Having these roles assigned makes your group more organized and efficient during the mission.
3. Collaborating on Strategies
Coordinating Attacks: When engaging in PvE missions or PvP battles, a coordinated attack plan is key.
