EA Sports has unveiled its brand-new FC 24 FUT Heroes, with 19 players revealed. Each player has been re-imagined by Marvel as comic book heroes and heroines, and you can take them to the pitch in FC 24 Ultimate Team.
Each new Ultimate Team Hero this year will be remembered for how they performed both domestically and in Europe. The selected players will be celebrated with a base version as well as a UEFA Champions League or UEFA Women’s Champions League version. This will commemorate their European greatness.
Serie A has three new options, including the two highest-rated UCL items. Coming with a 91 overall on their UCL Hero items are Dutch wizard Wesley Sneijder and Italian magician Gianluca Vialli.
Both are sure to go down a storm with fans. In-game commentator and former England international Alex Scott was the first female Hero to be revealed. She was followed by Frauen Bundesliga legend Nadine Kessler and Sonia Bompastor representing the D1 Arkema.
Former Arsenal stars Nwankwo Kanu and Tomas Rosicky have also been revealed. Sadly for Gunners fans, neither player will have the Premier League chemistry links for their UCL Hero item. Kanu will belong to the Eredivisie, while Rosicky’s item refers to his Borussia Dortmund days and will bolster the Bundesliga options.
Watch out for American flyer DeMarcus Beasley. He is our tip to be this season’s alternative to Saeed Al-Owairan. The Saudi Arabian dominated FC 24 Ultimate Team with his electric pace, and we envisage Beasley being capable of similar.
We saw Hidetoshi Nakata and Jay-Jay Okocha change from Icons to FUT Heroes in FC 24. Rui Costa and Jari Litmanen have had the same treatment in FC 24.
