How to Reach Taylew’s Ruined Forge
Taylew’s Ruined Forge is situated just north of the Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace, in the northwestern corner of the map. Summon Torrent and follow the road until you reach a marble structure with a lit brazier. The entrance to the Ruined Forge is a small, easily missed archway. Once inside, you will find Taylew’s Ruined Forge Site of Grace.

1. Starting at Taylew’s Ruined Forge Site of Grace
From the Site of Grace, head down the tunnel to reach a balcony overlooking a lake of lava. Collect the Shadow Realm Rune [3] from the corpse next to the railing and take the stairs to the left. Be cautious of the Lava Slime that drops from the ceiling and use the ladder to Elden Ring Items climb down.
2. Navigating the Lava Room
Jump across the small gap in the broken floor and enter the chamber to the left. Beware of the Golem Smith ambush to the right. Collect the Smithscript Axe behind him and head back to the lava room.
In the lava room, you’ll notice a large metal pipe you can use as a walkway. Take a running start and jump onto the protruding section to land safely. Jump to the crumbling stone balcony on the other side to find the Smithscript Greathammer behind a Lava Slime. Pick it up and return to the pipe.
3. Exploring the Upper Balconies
Follow the pipe towards the top until you see two balconies you can jump to: one to the left and one to the right. Go left first and pick up the Smithing Stone [4] from the corpse on the ground. There are two Golem Smiths here; ignore them and go to the back of the room where the second Golem Smith is standing. Collect the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone from a corpse next to the metal pipe and jump back onto the pipe.
Head to the balcony on the right this time. The room to the right leads back to the pipe, and the tunnel in front of you progresses deeper into the Ruined Forge. Go through the tunnel to find a room with two more Golem Smiths and a Lava Slime. Walk up the broken pillar to the section where the Lava Pot-wielding Golem is, and you’ll find the Smithscript Shield on a corpse. Turn back around, and you’ll see a balcony you can jump over. Do so to cheap Elden Ring Items drop down to the floor below.
