The quarterfinals kicked off with a clash with Skimbo as well as LOS. The match was advertised as Skimbo was the highest-ranked player entering the tournament, whereas LOS was on a high streak and was ranked 31 overall. In the halftime break, Skimbo lead 35-23 after being unable to finish his first play and surrendering a score on LOS on their first drive. On his first drive in the second half, LOS scored after Skimbo removed his safety leaving Hopkins in the open field for the touchdown. This would be the final time LOS entered the final zone, as Skimbo stopped him by a great defense. He added 10 points to win, taking away LOS with an overall score of 45-28.
Game two featured the #7 Young KIV taking on #9 SpotMePlzzz in a match that most people thought was one of the most scoring games. SpotMe’s Young KIV user jumped on the ball with only a few seconds remaining in the first quarter and came into the halftime period with a lead of 24-10. SpotMe failed to score an additional point for a missed button press, which proved extremely costly at the time. The second period saw the SpotMe offense explode with 24 points compared to KIV’s 10. With a minute remaining in the buy Madden 25 coins game, both SpotMe and KIV engaged in a knee and timeout contest which ended up winning by the SpotMe. He sat down on the third down, and then took his own timeout before scoring a field goal to win the game and score through to finals.
