The first time that classic well came out in classic vanilla about three years in the past. But you would think that over the course of three years of classic WoW and the analytic knowledge that Blizzard has gathered from us in how we play the game that Blizzard would have implemented some additional security measures or added server capacity over the past three years to aid. The game is very exciting, exciting, and hype periods. Like right now. Now beyond that I’ve got to say and this is probably the most frustrating thing in my opinion, things are only likely to get worse. Wrath of the Lich King hasn’t even launched yet. Right now, we are in the first couple of days of pre patch, which leads us into the actual hype event, that’s the typical launch for Wrath in just three weeks the moment you read this.
Now, if we consider the history of the private server, or the classic private server with a well-established community, there is an extremely, highly likely possibility that classic wrath King Lich will be more popular than classic vanilla or at a minimum, a few points of it maybe older than our launch, or perhaps the first few days of classic wrath, we can’t make any promises. But regardless, even when it’s smaller than vanilla, it’s sure to be gorgeous, and pretty large sure to be bigger than the classic TVC.
As a kind of salve for the wound perhaps intentionally or perhaps unintentionally Blizzard has provided free transfers on servers categorically dead, like literally almost no one is playing on them. This is a complete non solution since no one in their right mind would ever choose for these servers. Nobody who is aware of anything going on in this game would be willing to play on a server that has this low of a player base. I’m gonna throw them up on screen right here, you’ll notice that nobody is playing on the servers.
